Combine protected from rust with Prolan

Philpot Farm in Chelmsford has been using Prolan to lubricate and protect its machinery and assets. The Farmer has been getting ready for the upcoming harvest and wanted to make sure the combine harvester was fully serviced.  A combine has lots of moving parts made of polished metal and its vital that these parts can freely move against each other otherwise performance can be slowed down.

Prolan Medium Grade spray was used on all the metal work, including the header, knife section and chains to protect them from moisture and corrosion.    Without a protective barrier, these parts can seize up and the efficiency and performance of the combine would be compromised.

Prolan is an award winning product that has been tested on a variety of equipment from tractors and diggers to quad bikes to protect from rust and corrosion.  By using Prolan, Philpot Farms are protecting their investment.

Prolan spray forms a barrier to prevent moisture corroding metal

How does Prolan work?

  • Spraying ‘Prolan Medium Grade Spray’ forms a barrier and stops moisture attacking the
    surface and causing corrosion.
  • A coat will last 9-12 months on average, depending upon the situation.
  • It sticks to steel which will stop any cold water blasting from washing it off.
  • Prolan Lubricants always stays soft and moves with the frame preventing the coat from cracking.
  • It is a clean, easy to use biodegradable product that will not harm the environment.

Prolan is made with lanolin found in sheep’s wool and is a completely natural product that is NSF certified. It can be used with confidence in all areas of the farm and is safe for humans, animals and the environment.
