AGRI.CYCLE LAUNCHES NEW RECYCLING SYSTEM FOR FARMERS

Agri.Cycle is a family business, devoted to the reduction of plastic pollution in agriculture through innovative and unique recycling processes since 2004. Agri.Cycle ensures farmers need not worry about compliance with any sustainability measures in farm assurance schemes and helps dispose of agricultural plastic such as feed and fertiliser bags, silage wrap, tree guards and spent shotgun cartridges, the list of what can be collected and recycled is extensive.

The scheme is based on a new bag frame system which has been specifically designed to be extremely user friendly for easy handling and operation and cuts down on loading and unloading time. Each bag can be used for separating different types of waste and the sturdy frames have been specially made to be user-friendly and designed for easy handling and operation. The frame system has also been created to withstand the environmental and weather challenges farmers face all year round while allowing for the clean and efficient separation of waste streams and 30% more waste to be packed into every bag.

NEW APP FOR EVEN EASIER COLLECTIONS

The new Frame and Bag system has been launched at the same time as Agri.cycle’s new own online App, which allows members to request recycling collections. With just five clicks from getting started to booking a collection, the app helps farmers recycle 12 of the most common farm plastics and the time-saving and efficient technology allows collections to be requested out of hours, so farmers can optimise their time on the farm.

Our customers lie at the heart of everything we do here at Agri.Cycle. For us, developing this app was the next logical step to be able to deliver a service which can be accessed around every farmer’s busy schedule.  With this innovative new app, we are making recycling farm plastic as easy as possible for our customers, both existing and new. There is an appetite to make farming more sustainable, from recycling to regenerative farming itself – we hope this app is another step in the right direction to reducing farm waste.
