Witham’s Paint Helps RAF Vulcan Bomber Restoration

We attended an event in June to see the restoration of a Vulcan XM607, the gate guardian of RAF Waddington, which is currently undergoing restoration work. The event was also attended by the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, who has been the Honorary Air Commodore for RAF Waddington since 2008.
We are very proud to have supplied all the paint and technical support for this project. We look forward to seeing the finished result very soon, watch this space for a fuller feature in our next customer Oily Rag newsletter.

I am so glad that this airframe is receiving the care that it needed some time ago.Of all planes I just wish that it could have been preserved to run and taxi as it’s importance to history is now realised.Thankyou all for given this historic plane the tlc it has needed
Thanks for your comment Shaun! We were very honoured to work on this restoration project.
