Classic Tractor & Trailer Restoration

A 1984 Ford TW 25 and Tye tipping trailer, built originally near York, were sent to father and son team, Andrew and Ronan Marwood, of Full Sutton, near York, for a full restoration.

After several months of stripping, cleaning and welding, the equipment was ready for painting. For the Tractor, we supplied our Woco Paint Twin Pack Anti Corrosive Primer (TDS 608) in Ford Tractor Blue. This product is especially suitable where gloss hold up of the top coat is required.

We also supplied Supercote Primer TDS 371, matched in colour for the wheels and roof panel. A new interior cladding kit finished off the interior to an ‘as new’ condition.

The trailer received the same type of treatment, and was then painted with Supercote Undercoat Primer, and a Supercote Top Coat matched to RAL 3020. Once a new wooden floor was installed, the two machines were loaded up for return to their new owner.
