A HISTORIC HONOUR: RESTORING THE MTB-102 BOAT

We are incredibly proud to have supplied the specialist marine paints for the restoration of the legendary MTB-102. As one of the most storied vessels in British naval history, she served as the Royal Navy’s fastest craft during WWII and famously acted as a flagship during the Dunkirk evacuation.

Beyond her wartime heroics, the MTB-102 has carried world leaders such as Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower, and more recently appeared on the silver screen in the film Dunkirk.

Today, she remains a beautifully preserved example of high-speed engineering and a local icon on the Norfolk and Suffolk coast. Being involved in the preservation of such a magnificent vessel is a true honour for the Witham Group and we were proud to supply the following greases and coatings:
