Just Audi VW: “I Am Fortunate To Be Surrounded By A Team With Energy And Enthusiasm”

Here we talk to Adrian Morvinson from Just Audi Volkswagen, in Lincoln, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, to find out more about their company’s growth and success and how their customers form the cornerstones of their operation…
Tell us about you and the company?
Just Audi VW Lincoln are a dynamic independent Audi VW specialists in Lincoln, offering sales, service and technical support for all Volkswagen group vehicles-inc Audi, VW, Seat & Skoda. Just Audi VW Lincoln is part of Just Automotive Solutions Ltd a company owned and managed by myself. We opened in July 2011 and prior to this I headed up the main Audi franchise in Lincoln as well as overseeing the other Lincolnshire Audi sites(Grimsby and Boston Audi). I have been associated with the Audi VW brand for over 22 years in the Lincolnshire area.
Were about are you based?
We are on Outer Circle road in Lincoln on a 2 acre site. We opened our new showroom and 11 bay workshop in June 2018 and outdoor display area for over 150 used vehicles.
What services do you offer?
At Just Audi VW Lincoln we provide you with exceptional quality used vehicles ,mainly Audi and VW ,however over the past 4 years we also supply a wide range of all prestige brands especially Land Rover and Porsche. As well as delivering first class After Sales Service and Repairs at affordable prices. We now have dedicated Land Rover technicians. We offer a wide range of models as well as finance options.
The workshops are fully equipped with the latest in diagnostic testing facilities. We offer a loan cars, servicing using genuine parts to brand requirements, tyre fitting, Mot’s and collection and delivery of vehicles. We have also built up a very successful BodyShop based on our separate site on the Allenby industrial estate. Focussing on carrying out all vehicle refurbishment needs for our sales operation.
What are your main business goals?
Being fully independent is a key factor in achieving our goal, with much lower overheads we can offer competitive pricing. Both on vehicle sales and servicing costs, giving customers outstanding value for money. We aim to keep all our customer dealings simple and straight forward by prioritise the interests of our customers making their new vehicle purchase and ownership a pleasurable experience.
Tell us about your Team
Being a team of 50, I am fortunate to be surrounded by a team with energy and enthusiasm that are focused on offering an outstanding customer service experience. We all combine knowledge and some 100 years of brand expertise and I have all worked with them in the past. Steve Drewery with Brad Dodsworth look after the sales side of the business and have a wide knowledge of the Audi brand. Raymond Evans manages the service department, and the body shop is ran by Mark Dring. Joe Flint now runs the business on a day-to-day basis and has been with the business since day 1.
How have you found business since opening in 2011?
I would like to thank all our customers for the support they have shown us. We have had to grow our team to around 50 staff in order to meet customer demand. Vehicle sales have been exceptional, and the workshop continues to keep busy. It shows we have the right stock at the right price as well as value for money servicing which is important to all our customers. We are now retailing on average 140 vehicles per month.
How has covid impacted the business?
The last 18 months has thrown up its fair share of challenges as it has done for all business. We have been more than blessed in the fact we have all kept our health. Surprisingly the last 6 months has seen extremely strong growth in the used car market, but it is unclear as to how long this will continue. We can only follow the market and continue to provide our customers with quality used cars whilst offering a solid aftersales backup. Thank you once again to all our customers in supporting us and to our team that has worked through the restrictions keeping everyone safe and in order.
What are your future plans for Just AudiVW?
I have always had a great passion for the Audi VW brand, and know not everybody can afford a brand new car. It is clear that customers share my passion with the brand and why suffer the depreciation of a new car if we can deliver a quality used Audi VW with the build quality and prestige of the brand.
Working with local business partners has been integral to growing the business and keeping our customers happy. I would like to thank Witham for all their support over the last 10 years in focussing on supplying our oil needs. It seems rare nowadays to be able to pick up the phone and actually speak to someone without going through the pains of a call centre.
The Witham team are always there offering us advise on what oils we need for the various brands and models we maintain. Supplying both bulk oils and one-off smaller quantities. To include transmission oils. Witham were also a great help in 2018 with supplying the finishing touches to our workshop floor coatings. This paint has stood the test of time and 3 years on still looks great.
We wish the Witham team all the best in their 100th year of trading and this achievement really is testament to their team.

My husband and I purchased a Range Rover from your company earlier this month. We had the best experience ever when purchasing a car, which as OAP’s we have done many times before. We were lucky to have ALEX ROBERTS as our salesman, although we are sure the other salesmen are as professional as Alex is.
