Lucy Lavers Wooden Boat Prepares for Spring with Woco Paint

The Rescue Wooden Boats skipper, trustees, and dedicated volunteer maintenance team have been hard at work getting Lucy Lavers shipshape for spring—with a little help from our Woco paint.

Now based in the busy fishing port of Wells-next-the-Sea in North Norfolk, this remarkable vessel boasts an incredible history. Originally built in 1939, she famously served in the 1940 Dunkirk Rescue Operation.

Ready for the Heritage Season

The Rescue Wooden Boats team is currently applying a fresh coat of Woco Marine paint to ensure she looks her absolute best for the upcoming heritage tours, which resume this Easter.

A Lasting Partnership

Our partnership with the Lucy Lavers project spans over a decade. It began back in 2015 when we originally donated the paint for her full restoration. We are incredibly proud to continue supporting the preservation of this historic vessel as she prepares for another season on the water.
