A message from Nigel R Bottom, Group Managing Director

I would like to start by firstly wishing you and all your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Over the past twelve months, as a Group, we have had some very interesting scenarios to work through. But as we enter our 100 years of business in 2021, I couldn’t be prouder that we are still growing. None of this would be possible without the Witham Team at the heart of it all, and I am incredibly grateful for the resilience and commitment they have demonstrated throughout the whole of this year.

We continue to look to re-invest as we can in new technology, new infrastructure and efficiency of supply, and we have many plans for the year ahead. We’ve been working hard to achieve our ISO14001 environmental accreditation, and have some exciting environmentally-focused products ready to launch early in the New Year. We will be launching a brand-new website in January, we’ve expanded our ever-popular Barn Paint range, and we’ve seen some incredible successes with our Witham Motorsport business throughout the year. Of course, I am also thrilled that this has allowed us to continue to help many local charities and causes this year and give back to our local communities. 

Now is my opportunity to say thank you to you, our customers, for being with us for some (if not all!) of our 100 Year history. For some of you, we are now working with third or fourth generations of your families, and some of you are brand new customers – but our commitment to providing quality products and great service is the same for each of you.

So please everyone, continue to keep yourself, your family, colleagues and customers safe. And I hope that 2021 brings a more positive year for all of us.
