MODEL T FORD DRIVES 2,800 MILES ON QUALUBE CLASSIC OIL FOR CHARITY

At the start of the summer, we supported a team of customers in a fundraising challenge where they drove a 101-year-old Ford Model T on a 2000-mile journey from Gibraltar Point in Lincolnshire to Gibraltar on southern Spain’s Mediterranean coast.

The Model T and its crew-Larry and Christine Riches and their friends, Ralph Kemp and Margaret Sowerby completed the challenge in 2 weeks, raising nearly £9,000 for charity ‘Cancer Relief Gibraltar’. Witham Group donated its special Qualube Classic oil for the expedition, and with regular top ups and maintenance checks, the team made it all the way without a hitch!
