MOTUL GEARS UP FOR BUSIEST UK MOTORSPORT SEASON YET

Leading lubricant brand Motul is gearing up for a season of incredible variety across a wide range of different motorsport disciplines throughout the UK in 2022.

Its exciting 2022 Motorsport programme – spearheaded through its Motorsport distributor, lubricant experts Witham Motorsport – has Motul supporting motorsport in this country from grass roots levels all the way through to the UK’s top championships. In 2022 British motorsport once again gives Motul the opportunity of showcasing and promoting its premium quality oils and lubricants, care and maintenance products as well as providing practical technical advice and assistance throughout the sector in the UK.

Motul’s motorsport partnerships are fundamental to the development of its products and relationships with car manufacturers and engine builders – helping test and give feedback on performance. Motul and their growing list of drivers and partners have enjoyed great success in the UK over the past season.

Driving Ambassadors and Racing Teams, all using Motul products, will be racing in a wide range of British Motorsport competitions including the BTCC, F4, MSN and British Rally Championships, Pro Drifting UK, the Mini Miglia Championship and Citroen Endurance. Motul is also a proud partner in many key modern and historic UK Motorsport events, including the Classic at Silverstone and the Goodwood Revival.

For 2022, the latest list of Motul motorsport ambassadors includes former BTCC champion-turned historic racer Andrew Jordan together with the Jordan Racing Team and Historic stars such as Calum Lockie, Patrick Watts and Mike & Matt Wrigley. JHR Developments will again be vying for honours in the British F4 series. Olly Silcock will represent Motul in Pro Drifting, while Roskell Motorsport will contest various national Rally Championships, and new-to-Motul, Osian Pryce, will be taking part in the British Rally Championship.

At the top of the tree, in BTCC, Motul will once again have a prominent involvement in the championship. More details of Motul’s BTCC partnerships will be announced before the start of the series.

Motul has plans for more even more exciting involvement in Motorsport this year, including partnership involvement in Motorsport Days Live, the Classic at Silverstone, the Goodwood Revival, Motorsport UK’s MSN Rally Championship & the BTRDA Asphalt Championship.

As OE lubricant supplier to Caterham, Motul is proud to have become the new title partner of Caterham’s 310R Championship – the top of the line racing series for road-legal Caterhams.

As well as supporting drivers and teams on the race track Motul, through Witham Motorsport, also supports garages and workshops, together with the technicians who care for and prepare the vehicles, both in racing and general automotive vehicle servicing.

With an exciting package of high-quality products, cleaning ranges, technical support, garage clothing, and the new retro-merchandise range Motul’s product offer continues to grow. Motul is also seeing a rapidly increasing demand in motorsport circles for its new environmental BioClean parts cleaner. Motul and Witham Motorsport’s true passion for the sector, aided by prompt delivery and technical & marketing support means that the brand and its motorsport distributor are both really looking forward to the year ahead.
