Founded in Spain in 1958, SAMOA is a third generation privately owned company. Initially a manufacturer of grease nipples and lever grease guns, Samoa has evolved to become one of the worlds leading manufacturers of lubrication equipment. It’s head office, research and development site is in Gijon on the north  Spanish coast. SAMOA Ltd – UK was established in 1987 and has grown to become one of the most recognisable brands for fluid management and handling within the British market.

The UK depot based at Westhoughton, near Bolton, has 16 employees and a large capacity warehouse which enables us to offer direct from stock delivery for our customers. The quality of products enables us to have a strong market share and our ability to create bespoke solutions for our customers is second to none. Our after sales reputation is what puts us at the forefront of the market.

Our range of products enables us to offer a solution for all fluid handling and dispensing needs. From air, electric and hand operated oil and grease pumps and kits, compact to heavy-duty hose reels and a large selection of fluid dispensing guns to workshop consumables such as jugs, measures, funnels, etc.

We can supply equipment to dispense all types of oil, grease, AdBlue® and diesel. Our dedicated Flow Division specialises in Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps for
other market sectors such as water process and waste water, hygiene and sanitary, printing and packaging, paint and coatings and food industry, to name but a few.

SAMOA Ltd – UK offer our customers and their customers free site surveys to determine the best equipment and solution unique to each company. Our  knowledgeable staff are on hand to answer any questions and each customer has a dedicated Business Development contact.

SAMOA recently developed a bespoke oil vacuum unit for a major car Manufacturer which enabled them to connect rapidly to the engine oil extraction point. This problem had been causing customer to wait a long time for oil drains and so the new piece of equipment created the ability to carry out a quick oil change, all whilst the customer waited for their vehicle.

WHAT ARE THE CURRENT CHANGES TAKING PLACE IN THE INDUSTRY?

SAMOA invest extensively in research and development, and our manufacturing plant in Asturias, Spain is extending at a rapid rate. This gives SAMOA the ability to produce equipment needed for future technologies, i.e. Hybrid and electric vehicles in the automotive, agricultural and commercial vehicle markets. As part of the SAMOA group we have our industrial pump division and new developments in spraying equipment for paint and surface coatings.

HOW DO YOU WORK WITH WITHAM GROUP?

SAMOA have had a long-standing business relationship with the Witham Group and attend shows and exhibitions to support them and enhance their product range and services. We also go out with the Witham sales team to help customers solve problems based on their own workshops and challenges, offering individual solutions and personal service. Phillip Grote is the SAMOA representative that oversees the Witham Group on a day-to-day basis, but all our team are happy to help when required.

When the Witham Group receive a request from one of their customers on how to make their oil usage more efficient. SAMOA will visit the customer to assess their needs and design a fluid dispensing system to help the customer be more efficient and return a healthy profit on their fluids. From design of the layout to the complete installation, project managed by our specialist team. Full training is given to the site, followed by our excellent after sales support.
