Witham Group Announces Two New Board Appointments to Drive Strategic Growth

Leading UK lubricant manufacturer, The Witham Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors to help shape the organisation’s future strategic direction.

Graham Dawson and Ian Wright bring a wealth of industry expertise and internal insight to the board, having both served as Associate Directors for the past two years.

Graham Dawson has been appointed as Commercial & Technical Director. Since joining the Witham Group seven years ago as Commercial Manager, Graham has overseen the day-to-day finance, administration, and management information systems of the business. Known for his analytical mindset, process optimisation skills, and deep commitment to customers and suppliers, he has become a vital asset to the company. In his new role, Graham and his team will expand their remit to lead the technical aspects of the business alongside commercial operations. This includes leading development in the latest technologies and product ranges to ensure Witham Group continues to blend market-leading lubricants.

Ian Wright joins the board as Operations Director. Ian’s impressive 17-year tenure with the Witham Group began in the Lincoln factory before he transitioned into the administrative Operations Team. Over nearly two decades, he has managed key accounts and established himself as a trusted, “go-to” partner for many of the company’s long-standing customers. His exceptional contributions early in his career earned him the prestigious nationwide Young Employee of the Year award from the United Kingdom Lubricants Association (UKLA). In his new capacity, Ian will remain an advocate for customer service, high manufacturing standards, and operational team development, while heavily focusing on driving the company’s key environmental objectives.
