Witham Group Develops New Robust Woco Paint Primer for Bailey Trailers

Witham Group is thrilled to announce the successful development and implementation of a new, high-performance WOCO 2k primer system for Bailey Trailers, significantly enhancing the protection of their trailers against impact damage from debris.
Responding to Bailey Trailers’ need for increased durability on trailer sides, Witham Group’s expert chemists embarked on a rigorous development process. Over several months, numerous WOCO 2k primer recipes underwent extensive testing, including impact and cross-hatching trials on steel plates. Once a promising formula was identified, it was applied to Bailey trailers for real-world evaluation at their factory.
The collaboration between Witham Group’s Paint Technical Expert, David Lagden, and Michael Bailey, alongside Bailey Trailers’ paint shop team, proved instrumental in refining the application process. This close partnership resulted in a cutting-edge twin-pack hybrid primer system, with exceptional build and enhanced performance qualities.
