Witham Group’s Annual Charity Ball Hits £10,000 Milestone

At Witham Group, our roots in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire run deep. Being a family-run business means we don’t just work in these communities—we live in them, too. That’s why our Annual Charity Ball has become such a cherished tradition since it first began back in 1993.

This January, we gathered our team, suppliers, and customers at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln for a night of celebration, and we are absolutely thrilled to announce that together, we raised a fantastic £10,000!

Making a Difference Where it Matters Most

This year, the funds have been split between three incredible local organisations that provide vital services across our region. We recently invited representatives from each charity to our Lincoln head office to present them with their shares of the total.

Here is how the funds are being put to work:

• Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN): Supporting our local farmers and the agricultural community is close to our hearts. This donation will help fund helplines, nurses, and front-line caseworkers providing emotional and health support.

  • “This money will ensure our services, which are in growing demand, continue to provide much-needed support to the rural communities of Lincolnshire.” –

• TOFS (Nottinghamshire): This charity provides a lifeline to those born with rare oesophageal conditions. The funds will help new parents cope with the daily challenges of OA/TOF and support adults with ongoing health problems.

• Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust: We are proud to support the “green” heart of our county. These funds are earmarked for the education centre at Whisby Nature Reserve and the regeneration of the Hawthorpe Reserve in South Lincolnshire.

A Legacy of Giving

Our Managing Director, Nigel R. Bottom, summed up the evening perfectly:

“We are absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of our guests. Raising £10,000 is a testament to the community spirit in our team, suppliers, and customers. We are honoured to support these three charities that work so tirelessly.”

Since we started this tradition over 30 years ago, the Witham Group has raised in excess of £150,000 for worthy causes. It’s a milestone we couldn’t have reached without the ongoing support of people like you.
