Award Winning Witham Team at the County Shows

We were delighted that the County shows were back on this year, after having a 2 year break due to restrictions from the global pandemic. The last time we exhibited was in 2019 – 3 years ago!
We have been exhibiting at our local County Shows for over 75 years and they are key events in our annual calendar.

We were very proud to win four awards this year which is an amazing achievement for the team on the first year back. Thank you and well done to the Witham team who worked so hard to put the stand together, and  a big thank you to all our customers and suppliers who supported us. It’s great to be back!

The Suffolk Show

We were very grateful that we were able to attend the Suffolk Show on the 31st May and 1st June and it was wonderful to see old friends and catch up with customers on the Witham stand.  Thank you to our customers Bailey Trailers, Househam Sprayers and Thurlow Nunn Standen who had their machinery on display on the stand, helping it to look fantastic.

The Lincolnshire Show

We had a marvellous two days at the Lincolnshire Show, and were extremely happy and proud to have been awarded the Hugh Bourne Trophy for “Best Overall Stand” and the Sir Joseph Nickerson Award for “Best Stand Allied to Agriculture.”  Remarkably, we also won a third award – the “New and Improved Innovation” award for our Prolan range of environmentally friendly lubricants.

We always try to go the extra mile with our stand, and this year we wanted to do something to reflect ‘The Queen’s Green Canopy’ – which invites people across the UK to plant trees to mark the Platinum Jubilee. This was the theme of the Lincolnshire Show. We planted up an avenue of Alder trees on the stand – all tied with a royal purple ribbon.

A huge thank you to our fantastic Witham team who put the stand together and our guest exhibitors Sands Agricultural Machinery, Truckmasters Handling Ltd, SAMOA Ltd – UK , The Green Tractor Scheme , Fox Plant Fox Owmby Limited, Bailey Trailers, Great British Sports Cars and all our wonderful customers and friends who came to visit us!

The Royal Norfolk Show

The Royal Norfolk Show had another great week of dry weather and crowds turned out in full to see all the stands and get a glimpse of HRH Princess Anne.  We were delighted and very proud to win the Barclays Bank Challenge Cup for ‘Best Trade Stand’ – presented by Lord Cholmondeley.  Thank you to our customers Sands Sprayers and Bailey Trailers for displaying their equipment on the stand, and all our customers and who came to visit us over the two days.  It was great to be back!
