Tractor linkage gets the Prolan protection treatment

A Farming customer recently serviced a tractor to get ready to help with maintenance of some horse grazing areas.

The linkage on the tractor had seen little use recently and many parts of it did not move freely and consequently had rusted due to the lack of use. As the tractor was going to be in horse paddocks and a garden area, the Farmer used Prolan as a safe substitute to standard oil.

“I sprayed Prolan Medium Grade to the areas of the rear linkage that were sticking. This helped free off these parts, reducing the noise when operating, and protecting from future corrosion. On the same tractor, a front-end loader is fitted, and the hydraulic connections were also covered in surface corrosion. I coated this area with a spray of Prolan Heavy Grade to protect against the elements, and prevent moisture entering the electrical contacts with great results.”
