Witham Prolan Rust Prevention Featured in Classic Tractor Magazine

It was great to see our Prolan range featured in Classic Tractor magazine in an article about conservation and storage, including advice from restoration specialist Ben Craig, who uses Prolan Light Grade Lubricant for protecting classic vehicles:

“We use Prolan natural lanolin to protect our classic tractors – which doesn’t have any negative environmental effects. It is just like wax coating and can be sprayed on. It does harden and then can be polished if need be.”

Ben suggests using Prolan on tractor components to protect them from corrosion.  Prolan is based on lanolin, a natural by-product from sheep’s wool, and when brushed on castings forms a hard and durable wax protection.

Prolan is a highly effective, multi-purpose light grade liquid lubricant, safe to use on electrical equipment, which provides a thin even coating.  Environmentally friendly and biodegradable, and certified for the food grade industry, it is non-toxic and non-carcinogenic.

Prolan is a powerful natural rust preventer and does not wash off in the winter on a daily driven vehicle.  Acting as a impressive cavity wax, it can even be pressure washed without removing the coating itself.  Using Prolan aerosol spray throughout the year will ensure complete protection to all working parts, including rear hydraulic pipes and rear linkage components.
