Qualube Qualguard Hybrid Coolant, mixed with the appropriate amount of water, is used  as a cooling and heat transferring fluid in combustion engines and in particular for heavy duty applications. Excessive heat is transferred via the fluid to the radiator where the mixture is cooled by means of airflow. Qualube Qualguard Hybrid Coolant is a phosphate-free ethylene glycol coolant based on low silicate technology in combination with nitrite  and molybdate.

This product has been specially designed for heavy-duty engine coolants and may be used with confidence in engines manufactured from cast iron, aluminium or combinations of the two metals and in cooling systems made of aluminium or copper alloys. It is suitable for petrol, diesel and natural gas powered automotive and industrial engines and is particularly recommended for heavy duty engines where high temperature aluminium protection is  important.

Qualube Qualguard 50/50 Hybrid Coolant has been specially designed for heavy-duty engine coolants and may be used with confidence in engines manufactured from cast iron, aluminium or combinations of the two metals and in cooling systems made of aluminium or copper alloys. Qualube Qualguard 50/50 Hybrid Coolant is suitable for petrol, diesel and natural gas powered automotive and industrial engines.

This is a pre mixed ready to use product used as a cooling and heat transferring fluid in  combustion engines and in particular for heavy duty applications. Excessive heat is  transferred via the fluid to the radiator where the mixture is cooled by means of airflow.

This is a phosphate-free ethylene glycol coolant based on low silicate technology in  combination with nitrite and molybdate. Qualube Qualguard 50/50 Hybrid Coolant provides maintenance free protection against freezing and boiling and offers many benefits to the engine designer as well as the user:

Qualube Universal Blue Anti-Freeze is a cost effective, general purpose antifreeze, based on silicate and nitrate inhibitor technology. It is a Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) based antifreeze  and summer coolant, that provides maintenance free protection against freezing and boiling,  but also gives excellent corrosion protection in cooling systems when mixed with the  appropriate amount of water.

Often used in older vehicles or applications where a modern long-life coolant is not required,  this is conformable to British Standard BS6580:1992 and BS 6580:2010.

Coolant is a blue/green ethylene glycol-based engine coolant concentrate, formulated for  optimum performance in heavy duty diesel engine applications but equally suitable for light  duty uses.

It employs established inhibitor technology and is nitrite, amine,and phosphate (NAP) free. BTC Classification Type 3E. The inhibitors include organic acids in combination with borate and silicate to provide excellent corrosion protection in all applications.

This product uses a superior silicate stabilisation technology to eliminate the potential for  formation of silicate gel often observed with inferior products, whilst other additives ensure  good compatibility with hard water and prevent the formation of scale that can result from use of hard water.

The “Green Alternative” to traditional antifreeze. Unlike traditional engine coolants that are based on glycol, a material derived from fossil fuels, Qualube Qualguard Premium MPG is based on glycerine, a natural material that is derived from a renewable bio resource. As a result this is a low toxicity coolant concentrate (anti-freeze) and is readily biodegradable to a biodegradation of 99.0% (OECD 301E). The product is free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates, silicates and contains no other mineral additives.

It is specifically suited for non automotive applications such as caravans (static & mobile), marine boats, and environmentally sensitive winterisation storage, using carefully chosen organic additives to give the following properties in aqueous mixtures:

• Protection against excess freezing conditions
• Elimination of deposit problems caused by use of hard water
• Improved anti-corrosion protection of all metals and alloys
• Excellent anti-foaming characteristics.

Qualube Qualguard VCS Coolant (Yellow) is an ethylene glycol-based engine coolant  concentrate, which uses Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology and is free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates and silicates. BTC Classification Type 4E.

Unlike traditional heavy duty coolants, which employ inorganic inhibitors, this has  excellent hard water stability and very low inhibitor depletion rates. This product is a full  OAT engine coolant and exceeds the requirements of BS 6580 -2010 and ASTM d-3306 Type 1, meeting the requirements of most motor manufacturers. Its performance has been additionally evaluated against the requirements specified in Volvo standard 418-0001,  excepting those compatibility tests which require the use of Volvo specific components  which are not available externally.

In comparable tests with similar materials Qualube Qualguard VCS Coolant (Yellow)  performed extremely well and therefore we are confident to support its use in Volvo engines as an alternative to Volvo VCS Coolant. This recommendation is further supported by the many years of experience where Qualube Qualguard VCS Coolant (Yellow) has been used in a wide range of applications including Volvo vehicles.
