Qualube Classic Running In Oil

Classic Qualube Running-in Oil is a specially formulated lubricant designed to provide exceptional protection during the critical running-in period of internal combustion engines. This high-quality oil is engineered to meet the unique requirements of newly assembled or overhauled engines, ensuring proper lubrication and minimising wear and tear during the initial stages of operation.

Whilst the running in of modern engines is virtually unheard of for classic engines this is still a vital requirement. Formulated specifically to provide lubrication during the initial critical “running in” period of new and rebuilt engines. Qualube Classic Running-In Oil ensures components “bed in” and that tightly controlled, and only essential wear takes place. This prevents bore glazing which can lead to lost oil pressure and increased oil consumption. The nature of this product is such that care should always be taken to ensure the Original Equipment Manufacturers' guidelines are followed. This should include the recommended mileage to be travelled using this type of product. If this is not available, we would advise as a guideline 25hrs or 500miles should be used but the engine should be very closely monitored during this time.
