Qualube Concrete Mould Oil is an invert emulsion (Water-in-oil emulsion) commonly known as “Soap Oil”. It is an economical dual purpose mould oil in that it is suitable for both timber and metal-based formwork providing an ideal release agent for ordinary day-to-day concreting.
- Qualube Concrete Mould Oil is supplied ready to use, a uniform thin film should be applied to the formwork using a brush, sponge or soft broom with care being taken to avoid over application.
- Under no circumstances should Qualube Concrete Mould Oil be spray applied. For new and unsealed timber several applications should be made prior to initial use.
