Qualube Water Displacement Fluid

Qualube Water Displacement Fluid is a solvent water displacing corrosion inhibitor. Its non-staining properties and salt spray protection make this an ideal choice to protect components from corrosion for the medium-term applications.   

The light oily/greasy film is suitable for protection of all materials including ferrous and aluminium’s for all types of component protection both in transit and storage. The light film deposited is preferred rather than a traditional heavy film offering a similar time span for corrosion protection. The product has excellent dewatering characteristics and can be used also as a penetrant and lubricant.

It is usual to apply the products by a spraying method or dipping a component draining and leaving to dry. It is possible to apply the material using a brush, however, care should be taken using this method as fine bristles left on the component may act as a wick and impair the products corrosion performance. It is best to over apply the material which will ensure complete protection. The ideal temperature for application is between 18C and 26C.
